Autumn Sales Conference

RBOct1

Glorious autumn weather greeted the delegates as they gathered in London for the annual sales conference, this year held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel.

A tried and tested formula saw the advance party arrive on the Monday evening, for the usual fine tuning of the presentations and "attachment" to their selected walk on scores.  Hard work was interrupted for a team dinner in the Olives restaurant then back to work for all concerned; balloons to be inflated, seating plans devised and the odd late change to delegate's requirements.

The stage, the set and the pre function areas were all prepared late into the evening, ready for the arrival of the delegates and early morning rehearsals.RBOct2

Bacon rolls and variants, steaming coffee and tea, juices and water greeted the delegates as the presenters did their last minute fine tuning, then the meeting opened with a typically warm intro from the genial host.  A very focused programme of sessions were interrupted only briefly, for lunch and afternoon tea & coffee, as the speakers dealt with targets hopes and aspirations for the coming year.

The afternoon sessions had an element of fun in the mind gym, as delegates were asked to provide feedback and suggestions on all areas of the business, whilst being encouraged to think further out of the box than normal.

A prompt finish allowed for plenty of preparation for the evenings fun and games, with everyone entering fully into the spirit of things.  From Star Wars to Where's Wally, Rock bands to Young Looking Bobbies and a host of other unusual get ups, every indication was of a party to end all parties.

In the background an amazing transformationRBOct4 of the conference room into a dinner venue and disco with karaoke station and its own private bar was completed as the delegates enjoyed pre dinner drinks in the tranquil (to start with) surrounds of the conservatory.

A lively dinner and an even more lively after party with dancing singing or similar and plenty of chat.

Day three was time for fun at an undisclosed destination, so coaches collected the guests, their luggage and took them for a team building event full of fun and excitement.

"Another good job, thanks guys" was the fond farewell as we said our goodbyes after three busy very days.
