A teambuilding conference following a company wide re-organisation, the event had to be well themed in a great venue and provide all the facilities to ensure the staff had a good and rewarding conference.
Imaginations were tasked with finding a UK venue, easily accessible for the 190 delegates, who would be joining from depots around the country.
The event was two days with formal business sessions on both days, as well as a gala dinner and a team building event. The main room needed to be in cabaret style and the setup had to allow for evening dinner with entertainment and dancing.
A shortlist of 4 venues were proposed and following an inspection visit Chesford Grange was selected as being ideal for the event
Perfectly suited to the clients needs, all that remained was to find a suitable theme, evening entertainment and a teambuilding exercise on a small budget but delivering a big punch.
The evening entertainment was appropriately a tribute band of the Blues Brothers, who so energised some of the staff, they could easily have found use of their own services and the team building exercise was film crew for the day activity, where the teams produced a short video advert. These were edited before the evening dinner and shown as a show reel during dinner to much applause and enthusiasm.
