London Venues Find

In October 2011, WorldSkills will take place in London. This biennial event attracts thousands of competitors, their support team and supporters.

WorldSkills London will be held at ExCeL London exhibition and conference centre in London's docklands from 5th - 8th October 2011. Set to become the most exciting, inclusive and inspirational WorldSkills Competition ever, the event attracts teams, who will compete in such diverse activities as hairdressing, plumbing, construction metalworks, jewellery and robotics.

Imaginations are delighted to have been invited to partner a major Swiss based company in finding accommodation for their teams both for the event and for some pre - event training camps.

With so many delegates and visitors attending demand is extremely high for all forms of accommodation. Our task has been to find, contract and negotiate rates for a range of hotels to meet a variety of requirements for teams and spectators alike with good links to ExCeL

Find suitable country house style venues with open areas, leisure facilities, good facilities, good food and a flexible approach, to host teams for a pre competition training camp
Arrange menu plans and organise meals suitable for those with special dietary requirements
Negotiate rates with all the hotels to meet the clients expectations and needs
Negotiate payment terms for all venues
Manage the allocations to avoid cancellation charges being applied
Source transport for the event
Arrange for an admin office for the clients team, to provide on site services to all their clients and competitors
